Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC): PhD Research Internship 2020 in SA
Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) invites applicants to apply for PhD Research Internship Programme for 2020 in South Africa. The intern are for the period of 36 months.

The HSRC therefore seeks to appoint 5 x PhD Research Interns, who are able to assume duty before 31 March 2020. These positions can be based in any one of the HSRC’s offices, namely Cape Town, Durban, or Pretoria.
Requirements
•Have graduated with a Master’s degree and be
eligible to register or have recently registered for a PhD in the Social
Sciences/Humanities or a relevant field at an accredited tertiary
institution in South Africa;
•Computer literacy including MS Office and appropriate software packages, including MS Excel, MS Access, SPSS or Stata or SAS;
•Good planning and organisational skills, including the ability to working well under pressure;
•Good communication skills (verbal as well as report writing);
•A sound conceptual grounding in a discipline and in quantitative or qualitative research methods;
•Be able to operate within very tight deadlines;
•Be
prepared to work as part of multi-year, multi-institutional partnership
projects between the HSRC, government departments, universities and
other partners.
